MADE WELL FAQS

Frequently Asked Questions

Made Well House is a non-profit wellness center in Bryan, TX offering a holistic approach to healthcare through professional providers working in collaboration. Our members give back to our community through their service, as we donate a percentage of all services to BCS neighbors experiencing devastating loss of relationships or resources.

We provide preventative & restorative wellness treatments in a safe, therapeutic environment. While each discipline offers benefits as a stand alone practice, we believe they offer greater health effects when practiced in collaboration.

We believe all aspects of a person’s life; mind, body, & spirit, must be addressed if sustainable health is to be achieved. We believe every person is unique, therefore, treatment must be individualized & intentional. We believe health services should be attainable & affordable for all members of our community.

We also believe true healing happens in community, therefore we strive to set an atmosphere for safe, organic relationships to connect.

None of our providers accept insurance. However, we are able to provide a superbill receipt most insurances accept and reimburse. Insurance regulations often stifle a provider's ability to work at a slower, personalized pace with their clients. Additionally, Insurance companies often require a forced/mandatory diagnosis of a client, which works in opposition to our holistic value.

We seek to make our health services affordable and attainable to all members of our Brazos Valley community. We offer 1 free fitness classes, reduced or pro-bono services with completion of our scholarship application, and free support groups during the fall and spring semesters.

MWH is certified 501(c)(3) not for profit organization. By choosing to receive your service with MWH, you are donating to the work of sponsoring our at-risk worthy neighbors.*At-risk defined as: members of the Brazos Valley experiencing devastating loss of income or family due to crisis or trauma. We donate a portion of all member services as well as any charitable giving/donation, to support our thoroughly reviewed scholarship members.

You are a MWH Member while actively participating in any provider service or group fitness class. Made Well Membership allows you daily access to the Gathering House with free wifi, coffee, snacks, and peaceful atmosphere. Membership renews on a monthly basis. Because our goal is to intentionally pursue health & wellness alongside you, all members are required to actively participate in their health services in order to receive the private access door code each month. (30-day notice is required if canceling your fitness subscription).

The Gathering House & Courtyard Space is an intentional design created to build community around the mindset of holistic health. Our community is open to anyone willing to break the stigma that healing only occurs in isolation. Therefore, only MWH members are allowed on campus. Children under the age of 16 are not allowed on campus unless with a provider in session, or, inside the designated childcare space.

Childcare is not “free.” We pay our childcare providers well and create a safe, clean, professional childcare program for your child. Childcare is only possible through the generous giving of our members and donors. We ask all members to respect our providers and space as a generous gift to them while engaging one of our services.

Childcare is available for any service Monday-Friday, specified am & pm hours, ages 3 months to 6 years in am, 3 months to 13 years in pm.

By Texas Health & Human services mandate, parents are not allowed to receive childcare without attending a service, class, or educational group. Parent must stay on site the entirety of their time on campus. No child is allowed more than 2 hours in childcare per shift. No childcare Saturday or Sunday.

Parents are not allowed to simply drop off your child(ren) and “work” from MWH. A parent must be on campus to receive a provider service, or, attend fitness class/support group or workshop.

No one, other than the MWH paying member, is allowed on MWH campus at any time without expressed permission of a staff Director, or, inside a scheduled campus tour. We hold strictly to this rule for the safety of our staff & members.

All members are welcome on campus in the designated Monday - Friday during designated open hours. No one is allowed on campus Saturday or Sunday, as we host private events to help raise money for our program.
